YOGA has gone through many stages and phases of development since its birth. Its history is rich, with hundreds of styles now practiced world wide.

My personal style of yoga aims to bring a ‘flow’ to the class, a moving meditation.

When we can bring the mind into alignment with the breath, quieten down the thoughts, and embody the practice, we have the potential to experience a glimpse of the Bliss that lies within all of us..

This Bliss is the peace we experience when we free ourselves of the ‘thinking’ mind, the endless analytics that go on without us even realising half the time.. in Yoga, it is called the ‘Monkey mind’ : )

I don’t believe it is my place to tell anyone how to live, however as a person who endeavours to practice Yoga on all levels of my life it is my pleasure, and honour to share my thoughts, learnings and experiences along the way if the moment calls for it.

SHELI

I want people to feel good about who they are.

Life is complicated, layered, joyful and messy and if I can provide the space for a little self reflection & peaceful contemplation along the way, I’ve achieved my goal.

Really, the simple (yet all encompassing) realisation that we are more than our bodies, more than our thoughts, and more than our physical experience, is life changing.

My wish for you is a quiet mind & a warm heart. Sheli x
